Your Money Era™ Privacy Policy

Who We Are

This is the online home of Your Money Era™, where we simplify wealth-building for women who are starting late, starting over, or starting scared.

Comments

When you leave a comment, we collect what you share in the form plus your IP address and browser details—this helps us keep spam in check (because no one has time for that).

Media

If you upload images to our site, make sure they don’t have location data (EXIF GPS) baked in. Visitors can download and pull location info from those images if it’s there—so protect your privacy first.

Cookies

We use cookies to make your experience smoother, not to stalk you.

  • Leave a comment? You can opt-in to saving your name, email, and website in cookies so you don’t have to retype them next time. These last for one year.
  • Log in? We’ll set temporary cookies to check your browser, plus login cookies (good for two days) and display settings cookies (good for a year).
  • Hit “Remember Me”? Your login sticks for two weeks.
  • Edit or publish an article? A one-day cookie saves the post ID you edited.

All standard stuff, no sneaky business.

Embedded Content

Sometimes our posts include videos, images, or other content from third-party sites. Interacting with that embedded content is the same as visiting those other sites—they might collect data, use cookies, or track your activity. Always check their privacy policies if you’re curious.

Who We Share Your Data With

We don’t sell your data—period. If you request a password reset, your IP address will appear in that email, but that’s it.

How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Comments: We keep them (and their metadata) indefinitely so we can recognize and approve follow-ups automatically.
  • Registered Users: If you create an account, we store the personal info you provide in your profile. You can see, edit, or delete your info anytime (except your username). Admins can also see and edit it.

Your Rights Over Your Data

Your data, your rules.

  • Want a copy of the personal data we have on you? Ask us.
  • Want it erased? We’ll do it unless we’re legally required to keep it.

This applies to accounts, comments, and anything else you’ve shared with us.

Where Your Data Goes

Visitor comments may be run through an automated spam detection service (again, to keep the space clean and safe).
