How I Found My Way To
Your Money Era®

Hi, I’m Diana Latrice, creator and host of Your Money Era®.

I wasn’t always a registered nurse, and I definitely wasn’t always confident with money. I was a single mom living paycheck to paycheck, juggling overdue bills, dodging overdraft fees, and wondering if I’d ever truly get ahead. No child support. No financial safety net. Just me, my son, and a constant undercurrent of money stress.

My turning point came in a budgeting class at my church that I almost didn’t attend. That one decision changed the direction of my life. It helped me pay off my car, build savings, and eventually leave my full-time job to attend nursing school in my thirties.
Along the way, I discovered that some of the greatest financial lessons don’t come from celebrities or billionaires. They come from ordinary people whose financial decisions quietly changed the trajectory of their lives.

That’s why I created Your Money Era®. Through true stories, I explore the financial decisions that reveal what’s possible and inspire us to shape our own money era.

I’m glad you’re here.

About The Podcast

Where ordinary money stories reveal what’s possible.

Your Money Era® is a story-driven podcast about ordinary people and the financial decisions that shaped their lives. Some stories are about saving. Others are about investing, generosity, risk, failure, second chances, or building wealth one decision at a time. Every story begins with a real person, but it always leads to a lesson we can carry into our own lives.

Money isn’t just about numbers. It’s about the choices we make, the opportunities we create, and the legacy we leave behind. That’s why every episode explores one remarkable story and the financial decision at the heart of it, with the hope that you’ll walk away entertained, inspired, and maybe even looking at your own money a little differently.

I believe everyone is already in some version of a money era. Whether we’re paying attention or not, money is shaping our lives. The question isn’t whether you’re in a money era. The question is, what kind of money era are you creating?
